By fulfilling several roles within the Distribution Center, the Warehouse Associate - Picker plays an integral part in accomplishing the overall mission of processing Inbound and/or Outbound freight accurately, timely, and safely.

Major Activities:

Within the e-commerce environment, order fulfillment encompasses all stages of the order process, including receiving orders, picking, packing, shipping, and tracking. Hybrid throwing is a specialized role that involves combining manual and automated processes for optimal efficiency in the picking process.

Ensure that all changes in work assignments, system downtimes, and meetings are recorded in the production log accurately and promptly to ensure that productivity records are reliable.

Completes any additional tasks that are necessary for the smooth functioning of the enterprise.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly moving around items that weigh between 5 and 60 pounds
• Recurrent pushing or pulling of items or machinery
• Ongoing need for standing while using machinery and operating vehicles
• Routine walking, primarily within the warehouse vicinity
• Consistent utilization of actions like extending, bending, bowing, kneeling, and rotating
• Continuous exertion of the fingers, hands, or wrists

Work Environment:

• Workplace temperature exposure is directly dependent on the outside climate, and impacted by proximity to dock doors and exits
• Moderate noise is produced by DC conveyor/sortation machinery and powered industrial equipment
• Occasionally, when using powered equipment, there may be a slight shaking or vibrating sensation
• The chance of being exposed to dangerous particles and fumes cannot be ruled out
