In order to process Inbound and/or Outbound freight with precision and safety at the Distribution Center, the Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for fulfilling multiple roles.

Major Activities:

Finally, the role of Inventory Control involves overseeing the management of the warehouse's inventory, including product placement, tracking, and replenishment. This role ensures that the products are in stock and available for fulfilling customer orders promptly.

Carefully document all changes in assignments, downtime, or other activities in the production log to maintain an accurate record of productivity.

Fulfills any other obligations assigned by the company.

Basic computer skills for certain roles

• The aptitude to operate autonomously or in concert with others towards a common goal
• Crucial Mathematical Skills for Daily Jobs
• Keeping well-organized and accurate records requires an eye for detail, particularly in some job roles
• Another important aspect of communication and interpersonal skills is nonverbal communication. Body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions can all convey important messages and impact the success of a conversation
• Preferred Education
• The ideal candidate should have a high school degree or its equivalent
• Ideal Experience for the Position
• Prior use of manual and/or powered industrial equipment is a plus for the prospective candidate
• If you have previously worked in production, those skills can be leverage towards a successful career in warehouse and distribution industry

Physical Requirements:

• Continuously transporting and holding merchandise weighing from 5 to 60 pounds
• Continuous exertion of force to maneuver objects
• Frequent standing prerequisite for working and driving powered machinery
• Everyday walking, mainly inside the warehouse surroundings
• Persistent use of movements like stretching out, curving, sinking, stooping, and rotating
• Unbroken use of the wrists, hands or fingers

Work Environment:

• The location of the work area in relation to the outdoors and dock doors is crucial in determining the degree of exposure to extreme temperatures
• Sound levels from DC conveyor/sortation equipment and powered industrial machinery are acceptable for a working environment
• It is normal to experience slight oscillations while using powered industrial equipment
• Potential exposure to harmful fumes and particles must be taken into account
