Michaels is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate

Job Responsibilities:

• By adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, ensure that all applicable regulations and legal requirements are met, and execute the Company's policies and standards
• Employ a customer-focused approach to check out procedures, aiming to make the experience as streamlined and pleasant as possible
• We offer our Rewards members personalized offers and promotions tailored specifically to their shopping needs and preferences, ensuring that they always get the best deals
• VOC surveys can be conducted in various ways, such as online surveys, phone interviews, focus groups, and comment cards
• The Importance of Merchandise Recovery
• Promote a successful product return system and streamline store repair
• Recognize patrons, aid in identifying products and propose fixes
• Participate in the process of unloading and stocking trucks to ensure adherence to set truck standards and to complete the process without surpassing budget limits
• Aid for efforts to bolster psychological wellness and safety protocols
• By integrating all of your channels, omni channel processes can help businesses gain valuable insights into their customers' behavior, preferences, and purchasing habits
• Properly merchandising your store with eye-catching displays and organized product placement is essential to creating a positive shopping experience for your customers
• Engages with others in a manner that is both welcoming and considerate; maintains an upbeat and deferential disposition, even during trying times; supports the organization's goals and convictions; portrays a favorable image of the company and serves as a model for others to follow
• Our team is always on hand and ready to support customers in finding the products they need
• Trained extensively in Custom Framing sales and production

Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves to ensure products are always available for customers to purchase

Required Skills and Knowledge for the Job:

• A background in retail and customer service is preferred
• Physical Requirements
• The ability to stay upright for a considerable amount of time without experiencing discomfort
• Capability to move without restriction within the retail space
• Everyday actions of crouching, heaving, holding, extending and elongating
• Handling hefty packages and attaining elevated shelves via the use of ladders or similar devices
• Your supervisor is available to provide support in instances where you require assistance with fulfilling the responsibilities of your job. We will engage in the interactive process with you and work towards finding an appropriate accommodation

Work Environment:

The store's Frame shop contains tools such as a glass cutter and heat press to help customers personalize their purchases
